How it works with Zoho Meeting
Zoho Meeting is not one of the officially supported platforms, which are Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Cisco Webex and phone calls, and there is no partnership with Zoho. The copilot works by capturing the audio your computer plays. When Zoho Meeting plays the interviewer's voice on your machine, the desktop app transcribes it, separates speakers and drafts answers from your resume.
Zoho Meeting is often joined in the browser, so the audio usually follows your system default output. That makes setup simple, but test it anyway, because browser permissions and device switching can catch you out.
Setup steps
Do this at least a day before the interview.
- Install the InterviewPlan AI desktop app and sign in.
- Upload your resume and paste the job description.
- Join a Zoho Meeting test session in your browser or the Zoho app, allowing microphone access.
- Check the speaker selection in Zoho Meeting's audio settings matches your system default output.
- Ask a friend such as Sneha to speak for a minute and confirm the copilot labels her as a separate speaker.
Tips for Zoho Meeting interviews
Keep one browser tab for the meeting and close tabs that might play sound. If you are asked to share, share a single window or tab rather than the whole screen. Headphones help, because the copilot listens to system audio and headphones remove room echo from your own microphone.
Privacy and responsible use
The copilot works from audio only and does not record the interviewer's video. InterviewPlan AI is SOC 2 compliant and unused data is auto-deleted after 90 days. Follow each employer's interview rules, and use the drafts to recall and structure your own experience.
Pricing
Start with the free plan: 5 live Copilot minutes and 100 AI credits, no card required. Interview Copilot is then $5 per hour, each hour includes 200 AI credits, and hours and credits never expire. Taxes are included and you can pay by Stripe or bank transfer.
